Signal K is a modern and open data format for marine use. A format for the modern boat, compatible with NMEA0183 and NMEA2000, friendly to WiFi, cellphones, tablets, and the Internet. Signal K is built on standard web technologies and is set to revolutionize how we consume and interact with data on boats. Signal K mobile app connects to your Signal K server and visualizes information on a virtual panel and AIS map. Signal K mobile is not a navigation app and should not be used for such purpose.
